Sami Leigh Alsawaf joined Nagle & Zaller, P.C. in September of 2018. After graduating from the College of William & Mary Law School in 2017, Sami served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Yolanda A. Tanner in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. At William & Mary, Sami earned a position as a Graduate Research Fellow, a merit-based research fellowship, where she assisted faculty and staff with legal and public policy research in areas related to healthcare for children and testing accommodations for students with disabilities. While in law school, Sami was active in the Women’s Law Society, serving as President of the organization during her third year, and worked as an Articles Editor for the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law. Sami graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with degrees in Psychology and Political Science. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering for the Florida Gators and playing fantasy football. Sami is licensed to practice law in Maryland and is pending admission to the Florida Bar; she plans to submit to waive into D.C. in the future. |
