Born, raised and educated in Missouri, Hunter is a family man that lives in Carl Junction with his wife and two children.

Hunter excelled in at the University of Missouri, School of Law. He obtained the highest grades in his class in Criminal law, Torts and Civil Procedure. He also participated in law review journal.

Hunter recently joined The Law Offices of Sotta & Briggs, PC after spending the first year of his career as an assistant prosecutor with the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office. As a prosecutor, he handled felony and misdemeanor cases and obtained a great deal of courtroom and trial experience. Hunter is not afraid to take cases to Court to vindicate his client’s interest and get them just compensation, or any other remedy for which they are entitled. After leaving criminal prosecution, Hunter uses his trial and litigation experience to represent people in a wide array of legal issues, including; Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Civil Litigation, Landlord/Tenant disputes, Family Law and Estate Planning. Hunter will apply his unique knowledge toward Traffic and Criminal Defense, rounding out a dynamic legal team to The Law Offices of Sotta and Briggs, PC.
