Leif K. Anderson is a founding shareholder of the firm and specializes in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on business, corporate, real estate and construction, banking, bankruptcy, legal malpractice and contract disputes. He also provides representation in personal injury, tort and criminal matters. He has more than 19 years of experience in the courtroom and has tried numerous civil and criminal jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations.

He has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer for seven consecutive years (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015) and an 2016 was named a Best Lawyer by U.S. News.

Mr. Anderson is a 1992 graduate of Western Michigan University and a 1997 cum laude graduate of the Wayne State University School of Law.

Mr. Anderson is licensed to practice in all Michigan state and appellate courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA), Macomb County Bar Association and is an Oakland County Bar Foundation Fellow. He is a frequent commentator in Michigan Lawyers Weekly, serves as an Oakland County Circuit Court case evaluator and volunteers for the OCBA Pro Bono Mentor Match Program providing guidance to new lawyers.

In his spare time, Mr. Anderson enjoys hunting, fishing, sports and playing the guitar. He resides in Clarkston with his wife of 24 years, 17-year-old daughter and two dogs.
