After teaching biology for six years, Ms. Andrucki attended law school and has practiced in the Lewiston/ Auburn area in the fields of family law, employment matters and civil litigation since 1979. In 1991, Ms. Andrucki was chosen to be the IOLTA Visiting Professor from Practice at the University of Maine School of Law where she taught Family Law and supervised the Family Law Clinic. She is a director of the firm.

Subsequently, she has taught Family Law & Evidence as an Adjunct Faculty member. In 1993, she received the University of Maine School of Law Women’s Law Association award in recognition of continuing commitment to women’s legal issues.

Ms. Andrucki has given presentations at numerous MSBA/ CLE programs on parental rights and responsibilities, guardians ad litem, spousal support, vocational assessment and the like. She is the author of Maine’s Protection from Abuse Law, Maine Trial Practice, Vol.3 No.3, May 1987. Ms. Andrucki has been active in the Family Law Section of the Maine Bar Association and was the co-author of Maine’s Alimony Statute in 1990. She has served on the Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar and presently serves as a Trustee of the University of Maine System and of Maine Public Broadcasting. She also serves on the Professional Review Committee of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

In addition, Ms. Andrucki is President of the Board of Directors of the Maine Music Society. A second alto, she sings with the Androscoggin Chorale and Top Forty, an a capella rock quartet. As a member of Androscoggin Chorale, she sings marvelous choral works like “Handel’s Messiah”. As a member of Top Forty, she sings do-wop and girl group songs like “He’s a Rebel”. She is married to Martin Andrucki, Chair of the Department of Theater & Rhetoric of Bates College and has one son, Max.
