David Badanes graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in the Top Ten Percent of his class. While attending St. John’s Law School, he was a member of the St. John’s Law Review. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Assocation: Matrimonial & Family Law Section; Nassau County Bar Association: Matrimonial & Family Law Section. He has given lectures for the Marino Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He has had several articles published in the Suffolk Lawyer.

Mr. Badanes represents client primarily in matrimonial and family law matters. This includes, contested divorces, uncontested divorces, divorce mediation, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody disputes, child support, orders of protection, grandparent rights and neglect matters.

In addition to representing his privately retained clients, the Suffolk County Bar association has selected Mr. Badanes to represent litigants who cannot afford an attorney in Family Court.

The Badanes Law Office primary office is located in Northport and he has a satellite office in Nassau County. Mr. Badanes represents clients from Montauk to Manhattan.

On a personal level, Mr. Badanes enjoys skiing, hiking, bike riding and playing softball. He is a devoted Mets and Jets fan. He lives in Northport.
