Brett Beeler is proud to fight for employee justice. He has assisted in litigation on behalf of a variety of workers, including teachers, healthcare providers, office workers, janitors, truckers, immigrant workers, firefighters, college professors, sales executives, maintenance workers and executive assistants. He has experience in wage and hour class action work, as well as individual actions involving wrongful termination, sexual harassment, gender identity harassment, discrimination on the basis of sex, age, race, and disability, retaliation and defamation.

Brett received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2012, where he specialized in Critical Race Studies. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in political science from the University of Southern California in 2009.

At UCLA School of Law, Brett was awarded an Employee Justice Fellowship stipend from the California Employment Lawyers Association. He also interned at Public Counsel in its Pro Se Clinic, which provides pro bono legal assistance to underserved residents of Los Angeles. During the summer after his first year, Brett clerked for renowned civil rights attorney, Carol Sobel, where he fought for the rights of immigrant workers, day laborers and the homeless.

In 2012, Brett's research and persuasive writing ability was recognized by the California State Bar's Labor and Employment Section. He received the section's First Place award for his research paper, "After AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion, Wage and Hour Class Actions for Low Income Workers Appear Alive and Well."

Brett grew up in Round Rock, Texas. He enjoys playing basketball, DJ'ing and traveling.
