Kevin was born and raised in northern Kentucky. He received his bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Kentucky. Upon graduation, he joined the Peace Corps and taught high school English in a wonderful school in a small town in the north of the Republic of Kazakhstan close to the Russian border. He is a certified advanced speaker of both Spanish and Russian languages by ACTFL.

After teaching in the former Soviet Union for two years, Kevin returned to Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he clerked for a large law firm and a legal clinic. Kevin started his own law firm in 2010, focusing his practice on representing clients who had been seriously injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents.

He joined O’Brien Batten & Kirtley in 2016. He considers it an honor to meet and speak with people from all across Kentucky who have been injured by acts of medical malpractice and negligence or whose family members have suffered from nursing home abuse and neglect. He continues to represent Kentuckians who have been injured as a result car accidents and big truck and commercial vehicle accidents.
