I am a trial attorney and litigator with over 30 years of experience. While my practice is focused primarily on personal injury defense, insurance defense, and insurance coverage law, I also have extensive experience in general civil and trial practice, family law, real estate law, business law and wills and estates. I have experience in every aspect of the legal system from inception of the case to mediation or trial and all the way through civil appeals. I have received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, awarded to only those lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability.

After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree from Southwest Missouri State University, I entered the United States Air Force where I attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant as a helicopter pilot. I left the USAF and spent eleven years in the Arkansas Army National Guard where I attained the rank of CW3. During that time, I graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have been licensed to practice law before the Arkansas Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas since 1981. In 1989, I was admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

I have lived and worked in Northwest Arkansas since 1988, which has included my being the mayor of Goshen, Arkansas for nearly a decade and a member of its City Council prior to that.
