While at Wake Forest he was an editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy and an active Moot Court Board Member, competing in moot court competitions around the country. In addition, he represented indigent clients in criminal court, successfully appealed a decision to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He also worked on a team representing clients in front of the United States Supreme Court in CTS Corp. v. Waldburger, 134 S.Ct. 2175.
