Steven R. Broadwater, Jr., was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, graduating from George Washington High School in 2003. Steve attended Bethany College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After Bethany, Steve continued his education at the West Virginia University College of Law. While in law school, Steve was elected by his peers as the Fundraising Chairperson for his class in his first and second year. In his third year, Steve participated in the college’s trial advocacy team, the clinical law program, and was elected as the Social Chairperson for the College of Law. Steve graduated in May, 2010 and was subsequently admitted to the West Virginia Bar in October, 2010.

Since being admitted to practice law in the state of West Virginia, Steve has worked continuously at Hamilton, Burgess, Young & Pollard, pllc. His practice has focused on helping protect consumers from debt collectors. As an attorney, Steve has experience with credit card debt, personal loans, auto loans, home loans, student loans, debt buyers, and debt consolidation companies. Whether it’s mountain biking or whitewater rafting in the summer, or skiing in the winter, Steve enjoys the great outdoors of southern West Virginia in his free time.
