Kathy was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and has lived in the Philadelphia area for all of her life. Before attending law school, she worked as a registered nurse. Kathy began her nursing career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Lankenau Hospital. Thereafter, she worked as the Clinical Coordinator of the Medical Surgical Unit at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Kathy also served as the Clinical Coordinator of the Coronary Care Unit at that facility. Kathy focuses her practice on the defense of health care professionals and hospitals in complex, large exposure professional liability matters. She has particular expertise in the areas of critical care, medical-surgical, emergency and obstetrical care as well as hospital administration and policies and procedures. Her extensive background in nursing ideally positions Kathy to represent healthcare providers and hospitals. Kathy is a frequent lecturer on medical and legal issues. |
