Pamela Levin Cameron was admitted to the State of Connecticut Superior Court in 2000, the Federal Court in 2001, and the United States Supreme Court in 2004. She graduated from Boston University in 1980, received her Master’s degree from the University of New Haven in 1993, and her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2000. Ms. Cameron is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the New Haven County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, which is currently comprised of members all of whom are generally recognized as among the best trial lawyers in the State of Connecticut. She is also past chair (2009-2010) of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Women’s Caucus. Ms. Cameron was recognized in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 as one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Connecticut. Ms. Cameron has also been named as one of New England’s and Connecticut’s Super Lawyers each year since 2013 and one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in New England as well. Only five percent of the attorneys in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are chosen each year for this high honor. Ms. Cameron has received the distinction from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading national legal directory, of a rating of Preeminent AVTM, which is the highest peer review rating one can receive. She is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the certification of which requires the applicant to pass a rigorous written test, demonstrate a record of extensive litigation experience including numerous trials to verdict, and demonstrate compliance with the highest ethical standards of the profession. Ms. Cameron concentrates in advocating for victims who have been injured as a result of automobile collisions, premises liability, dram shop, and medical malpractice. Ms. Cameron has also successfully advocated for individuals injured as a result of negligent spa and salon treatments. She has experience prosecuting claims for vaccine injuries under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program through the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Prior to joining Moore, O’Brien and Foti in 2012, Ms. Cameron practiced as a litigator advocating for personal injury victims at Sinoway, McEnery, Messey and Sullivan in North Haven. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Cameron worked for 18 years at Yale University School of Medicine where she was the administrator for Digestive Diseases, Microbial Pathogenesis, and Cell Biology. Ms. Cameron is also active in her community. Ms. Cameron coached the Trinity College Mock Trial team from 2009-2011 and led the team to its first ever national championship competition in Des Moines, Iowa. She also served as assistant coach for the Quinnipiac University Mock Trial team. She is on the Steering Committee of the Central Connecticut Chapter of the Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child. In 2011 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps, Ms. Cameron spoke at Arlington National Cemetery to over 5,000 attendees on behalf of families of Fallen Peace Corps volunteers.
