John grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He attended college at Dartmouth, where he received his B.A. in English. He joined the United States Navy and served as a Bombardier-Navigator in an A-6 squadron on the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War. He moved to Colorado and used the GI Bill to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law in 1973.

John has been an advocate for victims of wrongful death and life changing injuries for more than 38 years.

John is the Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Evans Case, LLP, a law firm with a single purpose: finding the right solution for each client.

John concentrates on civil trials involving wrongful death and life changing injuries. He is tenacious in proving our client’s side of the story. He believes strongly in the civil justice system, where jurys hold wrongdoers and insurance companies responsible for unlawful actions that harm innocent people.

When not working on solutions for his clients, John loves spending time with his wife Judy, his four adult children, and four grandchildren. John and Judy volunteer in their parish to help engaged couples prepare for marriage. John enjoys playing ice hockey, and he is always interested in reading a good biography.
