Fleur A. Christensen provides more than twenty-five years of practical experience to the associates of Blazier, Christensen, Browder & Virr, P.C., handling probate, heirship and real estate matters for clients, as well as the day-to-day office administration for the Firm.

Her gift of attention to detail and of organizing complex matters has served her well during the Firm’s involvement in a multi-district anti-trust litigation brought against companies for price fixing in the 1980’s, and continues to promote the success of the Firm’s representation of its clients.

Her legal career began at the Firm of Patterson and Patterson, where she gained experience in probate, real estate, title research and curative documents, and the preparation and review of complex real estate documents. Since joining Blazier Christensen Bigelow & Virr in 1981, she has continued to handle real estate matters, as well as probate of wills, heirships and estate administration matters.

Ms. Christensen received her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1963, and taught Latin in the Dallas public school system for four years before entering the University of Texas School of Law. She received her J.D. and admission to the Texas Bar in 1969.

In addition to the practice of law, Ms. Christensen also previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law. She is an active member of the Travis County Bar Association and its Probate and Estate Planning Section. She is not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Active in working with community youth, she has been involved in the establishment and subsequent projects of the Seedling Foundation, which supports public education and assists college-bound students with SAT preparation, was well as the mentoring of children of incarcerated parents and the beautification of school campuses across our city. Ms. Christensen currently supports programs at Blazier Elementary School, Mobile Loaves and Fishes, an organization that delivers life-sustaining items to Austin’s homeless population, and Meals on Wheels of Central Texas, which helps the ATX-area’s senior population maintain personal connections and independence.

When at home, she enjoys all kinds of music, cooking for her sons, gardening and reading. She also loves traveling as much as possible.
