Jack Costello has been practicing law since 1988. He is a licensed attorney in both California and Massachusetts, and is also a certified specialist in workers’ compensation by the California state bar. Mr. Costello is a graduate of Villanova University and New England School of law, cum laude. Attorney Costello has been counsel in several high profile cases that have been reported in the media, case law reporters and legal journals. All of these cases are still used in law school text books today and are studied by law students throughout the country:

Commonwealth v. Pavoa (murder case overturned on appeal due to prosecutorial misconduct) Curran v. City of Boston (federal civil rights case defining unconstitutional policies and practices of police and city) Solorio v Andreini (defining homeowners liability in workers’ compensation cases) Guzman v. City of Milpitas (held that physicians are allowed to give injured workers increased permanent disability).

Mr. Costello’s current practice focuses on legal issues surrounding workers’ compensation, wage & hour disputes, labor and employment law, and personal injury. He is an aggressive litigator and has been recognized for his intelligent legal strategies, the ability to develop compelling evidence, and his track record of maximizing financial recovery. As a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Costello is always ready to argue before a judge or jury, if that is the best option for his client.

Before joining our law firm, Mr. Costello practiced law for many years in the Boston area. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is active in the community. He has coached his children’s soccer and softball teams, and served as a deacon in a local church.
