Ms. Coughlin graduated Cum Laude in 2005 from Oklahoma City University where she received a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in French. While attending OCU, Ms. Coughlin was a member of the Alpha Mu Gamma foreign language honor society and the Pi Sigma Alpha national political science honor society. Ms. Coughlin participated in the Capitol Hill Internship Program her senior year where she lived, interned and studied in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Coughlin graduated from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008 with a Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school Ms. Coughlin was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and a founding member of Oklahoma’s Save Darfur chapter. Ms. Coughlin received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the study of Securities Regulation.

Ms. Coughlin is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court and all inferior courts of the state of Oklahoma and the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. Ms. Coughlin’s law practice is exclusively comprised of consumer collection litigation and she is the president of the Oklahoma City Commercial Law Attorneys Association. Ms. Coughlin served as in-house counsel for Eldorado Motors for 6 years. Ms. Coughlin serves on the Board for Painted Sky Opera Company and is a member of the Legislative Monitoring Committee for the Oklahoma Bar Association.
