Janina Crenshaw is an alumna of Howard University School of Law and the Virginia attorney at Vassell and LeeRC Law Group where she handles immigration and criminal defense matters for the firm. While in law school, Ms. Crenshaw represented indigent clients in the Criminal Justice Clinic, receiving favorable outcomes in all of her cases. While working in the Criminal Justice Clinic, she took part in the Clemency Project initiated by President Obama. Through hard work and determination, Ms. Crenshaw and her teammates were able to get clemency for their client, and he was then released from prison after serving twenty years. Ms. Crenshaw was also on the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team and has competed in competitions in Chicago and Washington, D.C.

After law school, Ms. Crenshaw has worked her clients in criminal misdemeanor cases. Through hard work and skills, Ms. Crenshaw has been able to receive not guilty findings, get cases nolle prosequi, and other favorable outcomes. In addition, Ms. Crenshaw is experienced in a variety of immigration matters and continues to support her clients throughout their many immigration needs.
