Lindsey Curcio graduated cum laude with a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting from Mercer University School of Law in 2011. While in school, Lindsey was named to the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters. She also received awards for the highest grade in Capital Punishment Law, Criminal Procedure, Intellectual Property Law, Legal Writing, Law & Economics, Law of Lawyering and Business Associations.

In addition to her awards for academic performance, she also received numerous awards and recognition in several national advocacy competitions, including the National Moot Court Competition and American Bar Association National Negotiation Competition. She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honor society recognizing excellence in client advocacy, upon graduation.

Immediately following graduation, Lindsey moved to Charlotte to join her husband, David, who graduated from Mercer University School of Law in 2009.

In 2013, Lindsey was invited to return to Mercer University School of Law on scholarship, where she completed a Master of Laws in Federal Criminal Practice and Procedure in 2014, while also working in Charlotte.

Lindsey has practiced in Charlotte for five years, focusing on civil litigation, family law, contract drafting and disputes, personal injury, and criminal defense in a wide range of cases, from simple traffic citations to complex federal white-collar cases.

In addition, Lindsey serves on the Board of Directors for a local animal rescue and Roller Derby league. She advises and assists both organizations with legal issues, as well as coordination of volunteers, event planning and fundraising.

Outside of her professional life, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, dogs, and young niece and nephew that have stolen her heart.
