Attorney Scott Dalton brings a variety of experience handling personal injury, wrongful death, homeowner’s insurance disputes, property damage disputes, ERISA/denied employment disability related claims, PIP suits, and bad-faith cases. He handles cases from inception, through litigation, and in trial. Scott handles matters throughout the state of Florida on behalf of his clients, and has tried cases to verdict in both federal court and state court in Florida.

Scott was born in the Midwest and moved to Fort Myers, Florida at a young age. Despite being a first generation lawyer, he knew early on that he wanted to help those in need during his career. While most students choose not to work during their first year of law school, Scott decided he wanted to learn the ropes as quickly as possible, so he clerked at a Palm Beach County personal injury law firm while still maintaining dean’s list status his entire first year.

During his second and third years at Florida State University College of Law, Scott worked at a large regional personal injury law firm in Tallahassee, Florida. This experience provided Scott the benefit of being exposed to a vast array of injury and insurance related disputes even before he had completed his degree. After graduating from Florida State University College of Law, Scott returned to where he grew up, to South Florida, where he practiced at a statewide insurance defense firm representing insurance carriers and their insureds. This experience working for insurance companies allowed Scott to learn firsthand how some of the nation’s largest insurance companies, their adjusters, and their attorneys defend claims and lawsuits made by personal injury attorneys and their clients.

Now that Scott has joined the team at Rosenthal, Levy, Simon and Ryles his experience has proved invaluable in helping Scott successfully represent his clients against insurance companies, both in the courtroom and in the community.
