Amber N. Davis is a Shareholder for the firm who primarily practices in the field of Intellectual Property Litigation, but also handles trademark, patent, copyright and trade secret transactional matters. Ms. Davis has an extensive trademark practice wherein she has prosecuted hundreds of trademark applications, which services included availability searches and infringement opinions. Ms. Davis counsels business owners on better ways to protect their intellectual property and prevent others from infringing. Ms. Davis also handles opposition and cancellation proceedings in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as UDRP proceedings in front of the National Arbitration Forum and WIPO. Her litigation experience typically involves patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, anti-cybersquatting, theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, computer fraud and abuse act deceptive and unfair trade practices claims and other related claims. Ms. Davis has handled such matters in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida as well as successfully argued in front of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in such matters. Ms. Davis is the co-chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s, Intellectual Property Committee, is the Secretary of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Orange County Bar Association and is an active member of both the Federal Bar Association and the Florida Bar’s Intellectual Property Committee.

Ms. Davis graduated from Barry University School of Law, cum laude in May of 2006, where she received book awards in Patents and Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Davis competed in the Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition on Trademarks in 2005 and 2006. In 2005 her team placed 2nd Place Overall and in 2006 her team placed 2nd Place Overall and received the 1st Place Best Oralists Award. Ms. Davis attended the Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Summer Institute, in the summer of 2005 in order to expand her knowledge in the area of intellectual property.
