Julie is a highly experienced negotiator, litigator, crisis manager, outside general counsel and investigator. She has managed, negotiated and resolved many complex, sensitive matters for Boards of Directors, General Counsel, senior executives and business owners in both public and closely-held corporations and nonprofit organizations in Ohio and across the country. Julie was a senior labor and employment partner and trial lawyer for many Fortune 500 clients, and in 2003 became the General Counsel of a Fortune 1,000 public company with multiple retail brands. In these high performance roles she investigated and managed responses to crisis situations and alleged serious wrongdoing, and provided critical problem-solving and communications solutions in addition to creative litigation management and prevention. As General Counsel, she successfully managed a high-profile data theft situation along with many other strategic enterprise, corporate governance and litigation projects. She has a successful track record in creative counseling, negotiation and resolution of business agreements, issues and disputes, both before and in the context of litigation. She also has significant experience drafting and negotiating executive compensation arrangements and transitions for businesses and executives.
