Robert Dawid is a 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and a 1996 graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law. Following law school he was an associate with two law firms representing felony and misdemeanor defendants as well as preparing and trying commercial and litigation matters on behalf of insurance companies, doctors and other entities. In 1998, he joined the Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis and developed the White Collar Criminal Unit and tried numerous white collar felonies including embezzlement, passing bad checks, forgery, and insurance fraud involving arson. He also handled extraditions, civil commitments and represented the St. Louis City Sheriffs in Federal Court in Section 1983 actions. He has practiced and tried cases in the areas of medical malpractice defense of doctors, civil rights, criminal defense, product liability and municipality defense. He has served as corporate counsel to professional groups in assisting them on incorporations, employment contracts and general business transactions. |
