Ms. Nicole M. Diaz is an associate attorney at Gilbert Employment Law focusing on federal sector labor and employment litigation. Ms. Diaz has represented numerous clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and at arbitration, and has negotiated agreements dealing with various employment issues.

Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Ms. Diaz was a Litigation Fellow with the Age and Disability Employment Discrimination division of AARP Foundation Litigation. While in law school, Ms. Diaz served as a student attorney with the Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic, where she represented business owners in a variety of legal matters. Also during law school, Ms. Diaz worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Labor. She received a Pro Bono Honors award for her volunteer work reviewing appeals of visa applications for foreign workers seeking entry into the United States on a temporary or permanent basis. Ms. Diaz earned her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School. Ms. Diaz graduated summa cum laude from Emory University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Comparative Literature. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.Ms. Diaz has been a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
