Mr. Do obtained his juris doctorate from Texas Tech School of Law. While in law school, he was involved in a variety of organizations and activities. In his second year, Mr. Do helped to revamp the Lavender Law Society, an organization focused on LGBT issues, and served as its Vice-President. During that same year, he also served as the Secretary of the Asian Law Student Association. In his last year of law school, Mr. Do help founded the Immigration Law Association and served as the Secretary of the organization. He also earned the Top Grade Award in Negotiation and went on to become a Teaching Assistant in Professor Rishi Batra’s Negotiation Course during the 2016 spring semester.

Prior to joining Chavez & Valko, LLP, Mr. Do worked in a variety of legal settings. While waiting on his July 2016 Texas Bar results, Mr. Do went back to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he formerly worked as a summer intern in the felony division, to participate in the Post-Bar Internship Program. From there, he went on to work as a law clerk at Berry Appleman & Leiden, LLP before becoming an Associate Attorney here at Chavez & Valko, LLP.

Mr. Do is fluent in Vietnamese. He lives in Arlington, Texas with his partner. His goal is to visit all 50 U.S. States. Thus far, he has been to 37.
