Ms. Duaban attended The George Washington University Law School where she was a member of Executive Board of the Moot Court Board. She also holds a Bachelors of Arts from The George Washington University with Special Honors in History and a minor in Art History. Ms. Duaban has been committed to workers rights throughout law school and her career. In law school, she represented low-wage works in wage and hour cases and unemployment hearings in the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic. After graduating from law school, she was a fellow in MFY Legal Services’s Workplace Justice Project. Ms. Duaban then managed the employment law practice at a small firm in Brooklyn, N.Y. where she handled a heavy caseload of both wage and hour and discrimination cases. Ms. Duaban is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York. She is the co-chair of the National Employment Lawyers Association of New York’s (NELA/NY) Diversity Committee. She is also a member of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Section and the Federal Bar Association Labor and Employment Section. She has been published in many bar association publications including "The Federal Lawyer," a national magazine distributed to members of the Federal Bar Association.
