Although I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, I spent my summers in Greenville, and moved here permanently in 1987. Since 2000, I have been fortunate to do what I love doing, representing clients in family law matters in Greenville and surrounding areas. I’m fascinated with the law and the families it touches. Certified as a Family Law Specialist by the NC Board of Legal Specialization in 2011. This designation requires a peer review process and successful completion of an exam similar to the bar exam but exclusively in the area of family law. Accredited by the U.S. Dept.of Veterans Affairs in 2014 to represent veterans seeking disability through the ABA Veterans’ Claim Assistance Network, a program reducing the huge backlog of disability claims. Volunteer attorney with Operation Stand-By, a program managed by the ABA’s Military Pro Bono Project, assisting military attorneys with state-specific law (family law). |
