Mary’s interest in a legal career began with a high school summer job at a personal injury law firm. There, she got to know people who needed help, heard their stories and saw first hand the positive impact the lawyers made on their clients’ lives. That experience was profoundly impactful, and Mary has dedicated her life to helping others.

Mary attended Michigan State University and graduated from the Broad School of Business in 1989 with a B.A. in Marketing. Immediately following graduation, she attended the Michigan State University College of Law (formerly Detroit College of Law) receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1992. Since her graduation, she has focused her practice on helping injured individuals and believes that a client is much more than a “case." They are treated more like family.

Outside of legal life, Mary has a passion for the arts and has served as President of the Michigan Ballet Theatre Guild for 3 years while at the same time serving on the Board of Directors of MBT.
