Jack Fuchs has been practicing Criminal Law for the past 20 years. After graduating from the University of Miami, School of Law, he was employed as an Assistant State Attorney at the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Fuchs prosecuted all Misdemeanor and Felony offenses. His trial skills earned him a position in the specialized Traffic Homicide Division, where he concentrated on DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide and Boating Fatality cases. Working closely with the highly trained officers from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol and other local law enforcement agencies, Mr. Fuchs has a special expertise in accident reconstruction. While an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Fuchs was appointed by the Governor to prosecute conflict Traffic Homicide cases throughout South Florida. Mr. Fuchs is one of a select few former Traffic Homicide prosecutors practicing Criminal Defense in Palm Beach County. Since leaving the office of the State Attorney, Mr. Fuchs has successfully defended many DUI Manslaughter and Vehicular Homicide cases, challenging the accident reconstruction analysis relied on by law enforcement.

While attending the University of Miami, School of Law, Mr. Fuchs was actively involved in the University’s National Mock Trial Competition Team. Having won the University’s Mock Trial competition, Mr. Fuchs took his trial advocacy talents and love of teaching to the American Heritage School of Boca/Delray. There, Mr. Fuchs started the, now, well known Trial Advocacy Program. For over ten years as the Professor of Law, Mr. Fuchs taught aspiring attorneys court room techniques, rules of evidence and constitutional law. Mr. Fuchs can proudly say that many of his students are now practicing attorneys in the State of Florida and across the country.

While at the University of Miami, School of Law, Mr. Fuchs was hand selected by the University’s Dean to be the legal member on the Undergraduate Student Defense Team. As the Undergraduate Student’s representative, Mr. Fuchs defended students facing expulsion from the University due to allegations of misconduct. Mr. Fuchs represented students in front of the student/faculty counsel in both the, guilt and innocence phase, as well as sentence mitigation hearings.

For the past 13 years, Mr. Fuchs has concentrated solely in the area of Criminal Defense litigation, in both State and Federal courts. Though the firm is located in West Palm Beach, Mr. Fuchs and his partners appear in courts across the State of Florida and the country. Mr. Fuchs is a member of the Trial Bars for the Southern District of Florida and the District of Colorado. Most Recently, Mr. Fuchs has been admitted Pro Hac Vice in the States of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Mr. Fuchs’ finance/accounting degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst has him detail oriented so that nothing gets overlooked. Most interesting about Mr. Fuchs and his partners is their approach to criminal law defense.
