Elizabeth (“Lizzy”) Garlovsky concentrates her practice in Estate Planning and Wealth Transfer, Probate, Trust Administration, Trust and Estate Litigation, Premarital Agreements and Guardianship.

Ms. Garlovsky is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1993) and earned her Juris Doctorate from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1996.

Ms. Garlovsky is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Section and serves as a Mentor for New Attorneys. She is also the Public Outreach Committee member for the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and a Planning Committee Member and frequent speaker for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) for whom she teaches the Annual Estate Planning Short Course. Ms. Garlovsky is a Member of the Chicago Bar Association, and serves as a New Attorney Mentor and a member of the Probate Forms Committee. Ms. Garlovsky was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1996.

In the years spanning 2015 – 2018, Ms. Garlovsky has been recognized by her peers as an Illinois Super Lawyer.

Ms. Garlovsky provides pro bono legal services to various nonprofit organizations, including the Chicago Senior Care Volunteer Network, the Highland Park/Highwood Legal Aid Clinic and for residents of the James Lovell Federal Healthcare Center.

She is an active fundraiser and event participant for Cycle for Survival, an organization that raises money for rare cancer research.

In April 2017, Ms. Garlovsky was elected to a four-year term on the Board of Education for the Township High School District 113 in Deerfield, Illinois.
