Born in Billings, Montana, Missoula attorney Tim Geiszler was raised in various parts of the U.S., but has always maintained ties to Montana.

Tim Geiszler holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University and received his law degree from the University of Montana in 1980. Tim Geiszler has been in private practice in Montana since 1980, and is admitted to the Montana State Courts, Federal District Courts of Montana, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Tribal Court of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.

As an attorney, Tim Geiszler’s practice emphasizes the areas of Commercial Transactions and Disputes, Construction Law, Banking Law and Estates and Probate. Tim is experienced in both jury and non-jury trials of diverse commercial matters and construction law disputes. Tim has served on numerous Boards, and was invited by the University of Montana School of Law to serve on the Committee to Consider the Uniform Trust Code, which made recommendations on the adoption of the Uniform Trust Code.

Tim has served on the Steering Committee for the Construction Law Section of the Montana State Bar Association, and is a member of the Western Montana Estate Planning Counsel.

Tim Geiszler is a member of the Montana State Bar, American Association of Justice, Montana Trial Lawyers Association and the Western Montana Bar Association. Tim and his family enjoy the outdoors of Montana and traveling abroad
