Mark Getzoni, Esq. was born in Queens. His formal education includes B.S.A. training, Eagle Scout; A B.A. in Psychology from the University of Buffalo; Graduate Studies in Human Genetics at the University of Buffalo with a 4.0 G.P.A., studies in Orchestra Conducting, Julliard School of Music with a 3.67 G.P.A.; and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Touro Law School, Deans List.

Upon graduating Law School Mark practiced in the field of Commercial Litigation with one of the most sought after firms in that field, Smith, Carrod, Levy Arpino and Finkel, LLP. Thereafter he opened his own firm and practiced in the areas of Personal Injury, Debtor’s Right Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Criminal Law. Concurrently he was staff counsel for the insureds of AIG at the Law Office of Brian Rothenberg. Prior to joining Davidoff and Associates he was an associate attorney at the Law Office of William Pager from 2014-2017, practicing in the field of plaintiff’s personal Injury litigation.

During the course of his carrier as a lawyer, Mark has notably had 2 of his trials covered by the press at two ends of the State of New York, Buffalo and Brooklyn. He has gained special admittance as trial counsel from New Jersey and the Federal District of Kansas. He was principal examining counsel for the defense in the case Jose Sulaiman v. HBO. Show Time, Mike Tyson, Lenox Lewis and Main Events. Mark was also the top counsel for Anne Rosenbache, PC from 2006 through 2008, which is the NYC area’s primer provider of emergency and fortification counsel to firms with an immediate need for additional seasoned and capable lawyers. He was retained as counsel by many attorneys to conduct numerous jury trials, and Mark had the highest Jury Verdict in the State of New York for a Trust and Estates matter for 2012, which was in excess of $1.03 Million Dollars.

Outside of the practice of law, Mark is also a professional Clarinetist. He was the principal clarinetist for the Genesee Symphony Orchestra and Brockport Symphony Orchestras. He was a feature soloist with the Brockport Symphony Orchestra, Genesee Symphony Orchestra, The Civic Symphony of the University of Buffalo, and The Lawyers Orchestra of the City of New York, as well as various other local music organizations. He is a past winner of the Baird Concerto Competition. Additionally, while a law student, he was a music instructor at Chaminade High School for 2 year culminating in 3 of his students achieving the highest possible grading at the highest possible level for High School Students at NYS music competitions.

Aside from his activities in music, he is a former member of the Leadership Counsel of Amnesty international for 2014-2016; one of 4 board members for the Foundation for the Perfection of Man, which is a charitable organization funding humanitarian projects in India, Bangladesh and the Philippines; and he occasionally participates in ice hockey as a goalie. Also, Mark was one of the first people to publicly condemn the characterization of the findings from the "LIGO" project as "gravity waves", they are in fact "time waves"- as in "time will prove Mark is right". Otherwise, Mark just likes to hang out with his daughters Sophia and Mary, doing whatever it is they are interested in.
