Michael Godsy focuses his practice on risk management counseling and commercial dispute resolution, both before and after litigation has commenced.

In his twenty years of practice, he has represented clients across the US in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations and administrative proceedings. He has represented corporations, LLCs and partnerships on diverse matters ranging from employment discrimination claims to underground tunneling property damage, from railroad employee carpal tunnel syndrome claims to fatal explosion cases.

He is an experienced accident investigator and defense litigator, with substantial jury and non-jury trial experience, as well as post-trial and appellate proceedings. He has presented oral arguments before state tribunals, briefed matters before several federal and state appellate courts, and provided local consultation to large firms in Chicago and Washington, DC, on appellate strategy in matters pending in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Michael is also certified as a mediator under the Missouri Supreme Court Rules.

Michael is licensed in both Missouri and Illinois.
