In 1976, Walter James Gordon, Sr. founded The Gordon Law Firm, and since then the firm has been dedicated to serving the people of Georgia. Based in Hart County, the firm extends service to Elbert and Franklin Counties. Concentrating in the areas of Real Estate Law, Local Government Law and Personal Injury, the firm has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible rating for legal ability, and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. After graduating from Antioch School of Law in 1976, Walter began as a solo practitioner here in his home town. Antioch School of Law was located in Washington D.C. and was founded for the purpose of training trial lawyers committed to justice and equality for all. Walter has retained those ideals in his practice of local government law, general civil litigation, real estate and personal injury matters. He is admitted to practice before the Superior Courts of the Northern Judicial Circuit, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, United States District Court (Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia), U.S. Court of Appeals (11th Circuit), and the United States Supreme Court.
