Michael Grubbs graduated from Arizona Summit Law School, where he was Valedictorian of his class, graduated Summa Cum Laude, finished with a 3.97 GPA, and passed with the highest bar score from Arizona Summit Law School in the February 2017 Arizona bar exam. While attending law school he earned eight separate CALI awards, awarded to the top student in an individual class, he has been on the dean’s list every eligible semester, he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship given to the top student in the school, and he served as a staff editor on Arizona Summit Law Review. Michael served over 100 hours as a Rule 38 Certified student in the ASLS Veteran’s Legal Clinic assisting Veterans with general legal aid. Michael also interned at The Califano Law Office, where he helped prepare for 3 jury trials by discussing strategies, practicing arguments, and by participating in jury selection. Michael also worked at Righi Fitch Law Group as a Law Clerk for approximately a year before being hired as an Attorney. He has experience in practice areas such as insurance defense, personal injury, automobile accident, construction defect, professional malpractice, and various subrogation claims. Michael’s recent successes include dismissing a $10,000,000.00 claim for failing to provide safe ingress to a school, and dismissing a lawsuit alleging claims of fraud, theft, breach of fiduciary duty and various HIPAA violations against a psychological counseling firm.

Michael is from Mesa, Arizona, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. After graduating from a local high school, he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two years as a service missionary. Upon returning home he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with honors, and finishing with a 4.0 GPA. He currently volunteers at his local church, serving as an executive secretary for his local Bishop. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing soccer, watching the Phoenix Suns, and spending time with family and friends.
