Cameron Guenzel is a partner with Johnson Flodman Guenzel and Widger. He practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, wrongful death, long-term care, and insurance claims.

A third-generation lawyer, Mr. Guenzel graduated with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Law School, where he was an executive editor of the Nebraska Law Review.

Mr. Guenzel was honored to be selected for the inaugural Dan Jewell Trial Institute, which he completed in August 2016.

Mr. Guenzel has made numerous conference presentations to fellow trial attorneys, including presentations on advanced trial tactics, maximizing insurance proceeds, and proving visual dysfunction resulting from traumatic brain injury. In October 2016, he chaired a seminar for the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys entitled The Best of NATA CLE. He also published an article in the Nebraska Lawyer entitled Navigating the National Flood Insurance Proof of Loss Requirement.

Mr. Guenzel works with the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys to help shape legislation that will protect injured parties. His activities include meeting with state senators and, recently, testifying before the Nebraska Unicameral’s Banking, Commerce and Insurance Committee.

When not advocating for his clients, Mr. Guenzel spends time with his wife and four young children. He is also an active member of St. Michael’s Parish in Lincoln, where he serves as an Acolyte, sits on the Parish Council, and teaches RCIA and marriage preparation classes. He also is a member of the Lincoln Catholic Lawyer’s Guild Executive Committee.
