William J. Hardegree joined the firm of Spragins, Barnett & Cobb as an associate in 2015.

Mr. Hardegree is a native of Jackson, Tennessee, and graduated from University School of Jackson in 2008. Mr. Hardegree accepted an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Tennessee at Martin where he was a four-year student athlete. In 2012, Mr. Hardegree graduated from Martin, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish. He entered the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law the same year and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2015. In law school, Mr. Hardegree was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in International Human Rights and Commercial Paper as well as the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award.

Mr. Hardegree resides in Dyer, Tennessee, with his wife Morgan, who is a pharmacist. His interests include hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
