Originally, from Spruce Pine, North Carolina, attorney Harrison has been practicing law since 2009. Prior to joining Mewborn & DeSelms, he practiced law with his father’s firm, Harrison & Poore, P.A. in both Spruce Pine and Newland, N.C. In July 2014, attorney Harrison opened and operated a solo practice in Boone, NC after his father was appointed to a District Court Judgeship. Over the years, Attorney Harrison has practiced in many areas of both civil and criminal law, but has focused on Family Law, Appellate Practice, and Criminal Defense. He has argued before both the North Carolina Parole Commission and the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Attorney Harrison is a 2009 Graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, in Durham, N.C., where he was a Staff Member of the Law Review, and from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. In December 2003, attorney Harrison graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, FL, with a B.S. in Communication. Attorney Harrison looks forward to a long and productive career with Mewborn & DeSelms, where his primary focus will be on Civil Litigation. |
