Jenna L. Heavner is an attorney with the firm’s family law division. Prior to joining Mallor │ Grodner LLP, Jenna worked as an attorney for the Guardian ad Litem program at Kids’ Voice of Indiana. While at Kids’ Voice, Jenna represented and advocated for the best interests of children in highly contested family law disputes. Jenna has been a frequent presenter at legal education seminars on Guardian ad Litem, guardianship, divorce, and attorney ethics matters. Jenna herself has served as a Guardian ad Litem for children since 2007. Prior to working at Kids’ Voice, Jenna served as a law clerk for Judge William Hughes in Hamilton County Superior Court 3.

Jenna obtained her law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, Jenna was a regional finalist with the trial advocacy team and served as a certified legal intern with the Civil Practice Clinic. Jenna also was the chosen recipient of the distinguished Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman State and Local Tax Award for superior performance in tax law. Jenna completed her undergraduate studies from Vincennes University, summa cum laude, and Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis, with highest honors, obtaining dual-Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Secondary Social Studies Education.

Currently, Jenna is an active member of the Executive Committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Family Law Section. In addition her service with the Indianapolis Bar Association, Jenna is a member of the Indiana Bar Association, Family Law Section, and she also serves on the Indiana Bar Association, Women in the Law Committee. Jenna is married to a firefighter, Joel, and they have one daughter, Colette.
