| Description | Sarah Hoffman’s practice focuses on land use, zoning and permitting, environmental litigation and real estate litigation. She has extensive insight on CEQA issues, and has litigated cases under both California and federal land use laws. Sarah is experienced in resolving complex legal questions and achieving client-focused solutions. Prior to joining Zacks, Freedman & Patterson, PC, Sarah worked for Aqua Terra Aeris Law Group, where she represented non-profit and community groups in a wide range of environmental disputes, including CEQA and Clean Water Act litigation. Sarah’s legal career began in New Zealand, where she graduated second in her law class from the University of Canterbury in 2011. She clerked for a Judge at the New Zealand Court of Appeal, then worked in general litigation for two years. Sarah moved to California in 2015 to pursue a Master of Laws at Stanford Law School, focusing on environmental law and policy. At Stanford, Sarah coached the Jessup Moot Court team and was Co-President of the Advanced Degree Students’ Association. |
