Steven D. Hoffman has been serving the needs of individuals and businesses in the Cupertino area since 1982. His practice areas range from Business Formation & Organization and Real Estate Transactional work, to Litigation including construction defect cases. Mr. Hoffman is uniquely qualified in these areas, from his experience as an Apprentice Carpenter in the construction industry to his work as a Real Estate Agent selling properties in the Los Angeles area while attending law school. While in Los Angeles, he also worked in the Land-Use and Environmental Divisions of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Hoffman represents buyers, sellers, and brokers involved in both commercial and residential property and has held a real estate broker’s license since 1980. For over 10 years, Mr. Hoffman’s law office acted as Escrow Holder administering the sale of hundreds of Santa Clara County businesses involving secured transactions, creditor claims and compliance with the bulk sale requirements of the Commercial Code. He works with clients’ CPA’s and tax advisors to properly set up small to medium size companies, whether established as Corporations, Partnerships or Limited Liability Companies.
