MARIANNA S. ILINA, ESQ. graduated from the University of Georgia with High Honors with two Bachelor of Arts Degrees, one in History and the other in Spanish, magna cum laude, in 2011. While at the University of Georgia, she wrote her honors thesis titled "Self-Assurance One Bandage at a Time: Confederate Nursing During the Civil War."

Marianna then went on to continue her education at the University of Georgia School of Law, from which she graduated, cum laude, in 2014. While at the University of Georgia School of Law she worked at the school’s family violence clinic and helped clients obtain temporary and permanent restraining orders. She has also interned for the legal department of an Atlanta corporation and the Honorable Judge Christopher Ballar of the Gwinnett County Probate Court.

Marianna grew up in the North Fulton area and attended Chattahoochee High School. She is fluent in Spanish and Russian and is eager to put those language skills to use. Her unwavering commitment to the city of Atlanta is proven by her ongoing support of both the Falcons and the Braves.
