Attorney Jason A. Jenkins was born and raised in the great State of Texas. His Dad served as a minister in Texas where he truly learned and embraced the joy and effect of being able to help someone in need. After moving to South Florida in high school and attending college and law school in Florida, he is now an attorney who practices in the area of Elder Law and Estate Planning and is able to help people in need on a daily basis.

Mr. Jenkins received his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida where he graduated with honors with a degree in history. Mr. Jenkins then pursued his law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida where he graduated magna cum laude with his J.D. degree.

During and after law school, Mr. Jenkins served as a law clerk and then associate for the firm of Michael C. Compo, P.A. in downtown Miami, Florida where he gained significant experience in the practice of law and helping clients and families.

In January of 2014, Mr. Jenkins opened the law firm of Jason A. Jenkins, P.A. in Tamarac, Florida concentrating in the area of Elder Law. The law firm provides services to its clients such as wills, trusts, power of attorney, health-care directives, living wills, probate administration, guardianship, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, and Social Security Disability.

He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Florida State Guardianship Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives. Mr. Jenkins is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, Southern District of Florida federal court and bankruptcy court.

In his free time, Mr. Jenkins likes to spend time with his wife Karen, their 5-year-old son Jacob, their dog Jack, and their cat Kitty (yes, Kitty). Mr. Jenkins is also an avid golfer and a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
