Stacey A. Lafitte is a native-Houstonian and Principal of the Law Offices of Stacey A. Lafitte, P.C. Stacey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and enjoyed a high-profile career in public relations in Houston before attending South Texas College of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence. As a wife and mother of twin grade-school daughters and twin toddler daughters, as well as a teen-aged step-daughter, Stacey understands the ever-changing challenges facing today’s families, and is committed to helping families in transition. Whether litigating in court, strategizing in mediation, or preparing case-winning briefs for trial, Stacey is a powerful advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom. Stacey serves on organizing committees for continuing legal education for family law attorneys through her affiliation with South Texas College of Law, and is a member of the Family Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and the Houston Bar Association. She also serves as a co-team leader for the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inn of Court. She is a certified family law mediator and is also trained in collaborative law.Stacey enjoys running, skiing, hiking, playing basketball, fly-fishing – and just about every other sport. She is passionate about promoting girls’ athletics in schools and in the community. Stacey and her family are active members of the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church community
