Mr. LaMancuso focuses his practice on civil and criminal litigation, handling matters in courts in Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Erie Counties. National Trial Lawyers named him to its “Top 40 Under 40” list in 2017. And, attorney rating firm, Martindale-Hubbell, has rated Mr. LaMancuso “Distinguished” for High Professional Achievement and Ethics.

Mr. LaMancuso has successfully represented men, women, and children seriously injured in car accidents, work accidents, construction site accidents, slip and fall and trip and fall accidents, and dog bite accidents, handling those cases from the first appointment with the client through settlement or trial. Mr. LaMancuso has mediated, arbitrated, and tried personal injury cases, resulting in favorable outcomes for his clients. His approach to litigation is to listen carefully to his clients from the initial meeting onward and to always focus on efficiently and expeditiously achieving his clients’ goals.

Mr. LaMancuso has also successfully represented men and women suffering from mesothelioma and lung cancer caused by exposure to asbestos and asbestos-containing products, in products liability litigation. He regularly conducted depositions and preserved his clients’ testimony through videotaped trial testimony. Early in his career, Mr. LaMancuso assisted his colleagues with the trial of a case involving a man who died from mesothelioma. The jury in that case returned a $3,000,000 verdict in the family’s favor following a two-week trial. Mr. LaMancuso also represented a Greek national suffering from mesothelioma in litigation, defending his client during his extensive deposition and conducting videotaped trial testimony in Athens. Mr. LaMancuso has developed a successful criminal litigation practice, representing individuals facing criminal charges, including felony, misdemeanor, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and driving while ability impaired (DWAI) charges, from the first appointment with the client through trial.

Mr. LaMancuso began law school at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he finished his first year in the top ten-percent (10%) of his class and was asked to join the Arizona State Law Journal. He then made the decision to complete his legal studies at the University at Buffalo Law School in Western New York – where he intended to practice law. While at the University at Buffalo, Mr. LaMancuso was a summer clerk to a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court in Erie County and graduated with honors. Committed to giving back to his community, Mr. LaMancuso is active in the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, the Jamestown Kiwanis Club, and the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.

Mr. LaMancuso resides in the Southern Tier with his wife and their two children.
