Mr. Latsha is the managing shareholder of Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C. and chairs the Healthcare Practice Group. He is a past Vice Chair of the American Health Lawyers Association’s ("AHLA") Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Services (PALS) Practice Group, and is a past member of the AHLA Planning Committee for its annual LTC & The Law Conference. He has also served as a course planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute ("PBI") for seminars on Long-Term Care Law. He is a long standing member of the LeadingAge Legal Committee and has served as its Chair. Mr. Latsha has served as a lecturer and author for educational programs on numerous legal issues affecting continuing and post-acute providers for state and national trade associations, as well as for programs sponsored by AHLA and the PBI. He has extensive experience in representing post-acute, assisted living, and continuing care providers. Mr. Latsha currently serves as LeadingAge PA’s General Counsel. He is a distinguished graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Latsha served as a prosecutor and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney while on active duty with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, United States Army (1981-1984). He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal at the conclusion of his active service. Following his three-year tour of active duty, Mr. Latsha served for five years in the United States Army Reserve. He has an AV® preeminent rating through the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings attesting to the highest level of legal ability and ethics. He was named the Best Lawyers® 2016 Healthcare Law "Lawyer of the Year" in Harrisburg.
