He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and held externships in the Office of the Attorney General, California Department of Justice – Civil Law Division; and with the Honorable Elizabeth A. Lippitt in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He also holds a B.A. in criminology from UC Irvine where he distinguished himself with seven quarters on the dean’s list and as a Big West Conference athlete on the track and field team. Fred speaks Korean and spends his free time engaging in fitness activities, fishing, and drawing.
