Amelia represents clients in a wide variety of civil cases. The majority of her practice focuses on personal injury, commercial litigation and employment-related disputes.

Amelia is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky. She is a member of the Ohio State, Cleveland Metropolitan, Kentucky, and Louisville Bar Associations as well as the Ohio Association for Justice and Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and is active in the Women in Law section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she earned her B.A. degree in 1992. After working in a variety of fields, including the law, Amelia attended the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, as a part-time evening student while working full-time in the legal field. Since working full-time and attending law school part time wasn't enough to keep her fully occupied, Amelia also became involved in the Student Bar Association as a class representative, was a member of the Part-Time Committee for transition and standards, worked tirelessly on behalf of her fellow evening students to improve scheduling and class options, and volunteered for community enrichment projects. Amelia obtained her J.D. degree in 2011. Before moving to Ohio with her husband and joining Ciano & Goldwasser, she worked at a medium-sized firm in Louisville, Kentucky, practicing in all aspects of litigation.
