He has successfully defended people against allegations at all levels of the criminal justice system, including in the most serious felony matters. Mr. Long began his legal career as a prosecuting attorney. He transitioned to the field of criminal defense when he joined the Indian Legal Assistance Program, and later the Sixth Judicial District Public Defender’s Office. He has maintained a private criminal defense practice for over 12 years. Mr. Long prides himself on bringing professional and compassionate representation in all of his cases.
