Theodore E. Lorenz has extensive trial and appellate experience. Ted has been practicing consumer law with the firm since 2005.

Ted’s practice focuses primarily on bringing individual and class action cases for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Repossession, and other consumer protection laws.

Ted is also an adjunct professor of law at Widener University School of Law where he teachesConsumer Law and Litigation

Prior to joining Flitter Lorenz, Ted was a Senior Deputy Attorney with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, specializing in constitutional and civil rights litigation. Ted graduated with honors from the Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware, in 1992, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. After graduation, Ted served as a law clerk to Honorable E.D. Serpentelli in Ocean County, New Jersey. Ted received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, in 1987.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Ted completed Army Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and then taught English at the University of Geosciences in Wuhan, China.

Ted is a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves JAG Corps. From May 2007 to January 2008, Ted was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan.

Ted is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Ted is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
