Hannah Lowe joined Trammell, Adkins & Ward as an Associate in September 2011. Her practice is focused primarily on representing insureds and insurance companies in a wide variety of litigation, including defense litigation involving automobile accidents, homeowners’ claims, fire and casualty, premises liability, general liability, and insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. She appears regularly in the Tennessee Circuit, Chancery, General Sessions, and federal courts, and she has represented clients in the appellate courts of the State of Tennessee. She regularly represents clients in mediation and judicial settlement conferences.

Hannah is a member of the Tennessee, Kentucky and Knoxville Bar Associations. She is an active member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association (TDLA), and serves as chair of the TDLA Young Lawyers Section. In 2015 she was awarded the “Outstanding Young Lawyer Award” by the TDLA. She also serves as TDLA representative to the Tennessee State Bench Bar Committee. Hannah has contributed articles addressing recent updates in Tennessee law for the Knoxville Bar Association’s publication, DICTA and for the TDLA publication, The Journal. She is also active in the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Young Lawyers Committee, and serves as the State and Local Defense Organization (SLDO) liaison for TDLA and the DRI Young Lawyers Committee.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Hannah obtained her Bachelors of Arts in English (honors) from the University of Exeter in 2001. She immigrated to the Knoxville area in 2003, and now considers East Tennessee her home. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys hiking in the Smoky Mountains, running on Knoxville’s greenways, and sharing a glass of wine with her friends in her book club. She is also a volunteer tutor with Friends of Literacy of East Tennessee at the Pond Gap Adult Education GED/HISET class.
